Does any one know what the winter/summer switch does on the auto stick.

winter mode: the car takes off in 2nd gear to help with unwanted wheel spin.

summer mode: car takes off in 1st gear.

That is what I read but I don't see any thing different.
Thanks I will watch tha tach and count the shifts.
