Does anyone know what this nut/bolt is for?
I found this nut on the floor of my garage under the car. I do not know if it fell out of the car or that it may belong to something else. I have attached a couple of pictures. Can anyone help?

That is not off your car, it is the chain retainer from a hanging light fixture...chain goes to the loop,wires feed thru the middle hole & the nut holds the fixture canopy flush to the ceiling.

I guess the roof-line is a little low for a chandelier mod....
