My bas/esp light is on and all of my brake lights are not working, both bulbs + LED strip on the glass, also I feel a harsh downshift on my automatic transmission, these problems seem to have started at the same time!

Any help is greatly appreciated

 

Most likely it is the brake pedal switch.

 

Do you think the harsh downshift when braking has to do with this break pedal switch aswell?

Took it to the stealership to get it checked up, came out as brake light switch, and they scanned and reviewsed my transmission but could not find the problem I was dedescribing or any codes, total was $430 + tax wow

 

That's one expensive $5 brake light switch ........
