Default For performance purposes

I have a 04 manual coupe with the regular 3.2 with about 100k.
Via being cost effective what's the best way to more power out of the car?
Do an srt6 swap? Turbo (low psi)? Run a nos setup?
Eurocharged sells a tune but its only 40ish horses.. I wanna be sitting at 300 HP at crank. Any suggestions guys?

Sell it and get an SRT6, you'll be at 330 HP with possibility of going to 400.
Do not, I repeat do not even think of a turbo, NOS is a possibility but you need to know what you are doing, and even then there is the continuing expense.
As it sits, you can do a CAI, 74mm TB and ET tune and be somewhere around 260-270 HP.
Add NOS to that, and you MIGHT be somewhere close to 300, who knows ?

I just spent 1700 on a new stage 2 clutch, I'm not selling it lol. The problem I have with srt6 is they don't have manuals and that's an issue to me.
I can get a srt6 motor for $1500.

Good luck with that thought, you'll need to change everything that is normally attached to the SRT motor and that includes the auto box unless you want to spend thousands more.
Get the SRT and save yourself some money.

Man that sucks! Okay so how do the high compression engines stand up to turbos?

I think you would find it easier to drop in a MB V8 rather than a SRT6 motor.
That's been done a few times with success.

Ask Corky ( BEGi ) and tighed1.
Might take two weeks to get a response from Corky

Lol what kind of math is that? I have every hp mod and 125 shot of Nitrous. I need to go back to the track and try my new drag set of tires. But I put up 13.5 on nitto zr tires. Just saying I would have a better slip by now if I never got the Porsche. 300 is not the top hp for a limited im sure of it.

That's what I'm saying! After intake, exhaust, weight reduction, tune, nos, there's gotta be a way to get more out of it!

Just good ole Alabama shade tree math.
With no dyno charts to reference, I'm purely guessing.
Never was much good at the ciphering anyway.

Since you just recently joined, I'll be nice.
There are at least 2 threads concerning DJ's car at BEGi for a turbo install.
It was originally supposed to take 6 weeks or so, that was 4 years ago and DJ doesn't have his car back YET !
Use the advanced search feature and look up 'turbo' on this forum.
Get some popcorn and a six pack or two first, you are in for a LOT of reading.

check my site and the performance or parts pages Cdcrone123. I don't want to disclose that I have more than 300 hp here because the SRT guys will scream foul play. So I let this little 1/4 mile slip at dratimes.com speak for itself as I beat the stock SRT6 time.

Not all SRT6 owners will cry foul! Maybe the ones that are still stock but you have a long way to go to get anywhere near some of the guys with a lot of mods.

I may be new to the crossfire world but this is far from my first rodeo lol. After I bought it, I can't tell you how many things I've repaired and modded. Bearings to now the clutch. Brakes, tires etc. There's only one way to learn your car and that's spending time under it. I love this car I'm not even gonna lie.
Those track times are looking good man!

I really want to do more, I need to tackle ride confort and handling again. Not to mention the amg side skirts need to be re-done. San Antonio is a bad place to be, shops claim they can do aligment and fail, the dealerships have 1 week of cars in line... custom body work takes 20 days. No one wants to touch mine because of wheel spacers. I feel that I have to buy anothet car to have my car improved in and out of shops. Ouch.

What I meant was the SRT6 guys with many mods, there's at least one in the 10's and several more in the mid 11's. Most of us have spent our fair share of time under the car.
