Default Heater noise!

Hey guys. Update on the rcm. Since I have beefed up the solder points have experienced zero stalling on that front. But now it seems when I start my heater in the morning or when the cars cold I get a high pitched grind/ whine that eventually goes away. I'm not losing aNY heat or cold air but the noise is very unsettling as I relocate to denver this next month. And def don't need to experience heater problems. Any ideas? Thanks as always for the speedy responses

Where does the sound come from? Could it be debris in the heater fan/filter area?

Can't exactly say as I can't get it to grind long enough to hear it but I cleaned that box you're talking about yesterday to no avail. I may have to post a video some how. It almost sounds like the bearings in my ac compressor are dry. I have no idea. Just want and need to tackle this before the move north

Very possible. I haven't tinkered much down there but I'll tear into it today. Where was the belt located

You want your serpentine belt to be as clean as possible and recommending that WD-40 be sprayed on it is not to be endorsed.

I would not even use that, if the belt is a problem then you should get a new one. How many miles on the car? Does it look like the original?
This is not your granddads car, these belts are made to last a long time without any special treatment.

I haven't been in there other than to clean the debris from the fan area. I'll pull the cabin filter and check the belt after work. It very well could be my ac compressor bearings.I'll try n post a video. The car has just over 66k on the dash
