Are your side windows tinted? If not can they be? Actually not to be a dick I would have to agree with the sunglasses recommendation, especially wrap around glasses. They tend to block side glare a lot better (obviously) than regular frames that have a large gap on the side.
I've seen those suction cup mesh style sun blocks but they look fugly but I guess if you routinely drive with side sun glare it might be worth considering.
yes, i too hate the fact that you cannot block the sun with the visors,i had the same problem in my porsche. the only solution would be to tint the window with a friendly tone so that it blocks enough sun but doesn,t atract to much attention from the law. i would also check to see if my state is window tint friendly.good luck ......
