again, intakes add horsepower, are not rice. i can send you a link from scc about a project car they have, they installed an exhaust, header, ecu and intake on a tsx. dropped the qm by 1.1 seconds and a peak hp gain of 30. all of those mods are or are supposedly going to be available to our cars.

 

Did you see the one half way down the list where the RICER interconnected his air intake with the A/C compressor plumbing so he could have COLD AIR INTAKE.

 

Better yet, from the first site, A "PERFORMANCE INTAKE" one that feeds "COLD AIR" usually from inside the engine compartment. Remember saskins said at least a dozen times his have special "deflectors" to funnel the cold air into his.

The real difficulty for me with all this is that I don't want to discourage people from trying to improve their cars. From the beginning I read what he was saying and realized he didn't know what he was doing, and worse some people believed his stuuf was as he described it. To be sure I knew what he was about, I went back and read all his posts. Thats why I started with him the way I did. If you read his early stuff, you realize where his head is. Suffice it to say its dark there, Very dark.
With a well engineered system we could add 4 to 5 HP at the rear wheels. I hope someone does a set of headers, but best of all, DC decides to kit the Supercharger.
