Default $25.00 Paypal dollars to the first...

...person to identify the correct wiring module for the interior/trunk 'automatic' lights that leads to my solving the non working 'automatic' lights.

To be specific, the lights that go on when you open the door, they stay on, then fade out after about 25 seconds. On my new-to-me '05 SRT-6 Coupe they do not work.

Not only do the lights work set on manual, but I've verified that the problem is not in the dome light switch. (I have an '07 Ltd coupe and the SRT-6's automatic dome light worked in it.)

The wiring diagram on 8W - 44 - 2 indicates that the dome light control is located in the Body Control Module. If you think differently and it works, fine.

The best way to indicate which wiring 'module' it is, an arrow on a photograph pointing to it would work best.

Please don't just guess.

From the 2004 Crossfire Service Manual: pg 8L - 145
The door ajar switches are actuated by either the door closing against the jamb, or the liftgate latch mechanism striker plate. When a door or the liftgate is closed and properly latched, its ajar switch is an open circuit. When a door or the liftgate is only partially latched, its ajar switch is a closed circuit. The ajar switches are connected via a harness connector to a body ground and the central locking pump/security system module.

The liftgate ajar switch (1) is an integral part of the liftgate handle assembly and cannot be adjusted or repaired. If faulty, worn, or damaged, the entire liftgate handle assembly must be replaced. For complete liftgate handle removal procedures, see liftgate handle removal in the body section. Refer to Page 23-34.
For complete liftgate handle installation procedures, see liftgate handle installation in the body section of this manual. Refer to Page 23-37.

If you recall I told you yesterday that it was the central locking pump, keep your $25, if he pump is damaged you'll need it.
The fact that your pump was wrapped in plastic bags suggests to me that the previous owner had problems. The pump may be new but the four plugs may have been damaged by water and corrosion is giving you a pain I the butt.
This is not a new problem here, there is another thread on this somewhere.
