Got in the SRT this morning to back it out of the driveway so my wife could get the roadster out and as soon as I turned on the key the horn started blowing. It continued to blow anytime the key was in the run position engine on or off. I quickly moved it into the street with the horn blowing and shut it off. Got all the neighborhood dogs barking at 7am.
Anyone know what might set that off? Tried both fobs also.

 

Either a stuck relay in the RCM, or a short in the steering wheel.

Both good points. I'm hoping for relay but why would a normally open relay get stuck closed. I didn't honk the horn. I'm at work now, I'll check it out tonight. Thanks.

 

Pulled the RCM to inspect the horn relay, it looked fine, was open at rest and the points looked new. Removed fuse #9 and turned the key to the start position and reinserted the fuse. No horn. Drove it to work today and everything was fine. I'm laying blame on the horn gremlin. ???????
