Thumbs down Starts and dies...need help in Indiana

I have a 2004, with 94k miles. I tried to start it after work, it started and died, it did this 3 times then nothing.
The car had the crankshaft sensor replaced, no change.
No one will work on this car.. I know it's a Mercedes...if it is the WIN sensor, can my original one be repaired? If I buy a new one, I will need the keys programed, and no one in Indiana will touch it..

Thanks.. Lon

Ask about someone who can work on a 2004 Mercedes SLK320, drivetrain is nearly the same.

HI Lon, this happened to me and ended up being my SKREEM module. You may want to search for that and see what you come up with. Just a hint if it is, unhook your battery, remove Fuse #9 then rehook up your battery. This is a work around but will leave your security system disabled as well as you auto door locks disabled. Just sharing in case it helps.
