Battery discharging?
Have a 2005 Crossfire basic and just had the battery discharge down to nothing??? Had the battery recharged and tested-it's fine..but when I hooked it back up could see a slight spark between the post and the cable? Anyone else have this problem? Kinda like there is a dome light on or something?

Well a spark on connection is common as all of the keep alives start. That said after a few minutes it should settle down to less than 50MA. 200ma will kill a battery in a few days, 2A in a few hours. My computer cars sit at about 20ma quiescent.

Just had it checked out at a Chrysler dealership for the dead battery issue-said there is nothing wrong with the battery or electrical system-must have left a door ajar??
I don’t trust mechanics for electronics issues, I hope your guy is correct. 99% of mechanics can’t properly test for a parasitic draw.
True enough but I think most problems are driver induced. There aren't many things that just go bad, unless it's corrosion, which is easily fixable or loose wire, again fixable. It's easy to have a door or hatch ajar which will deplete the battery. I have a small plug in tester for the cigarette lighter that will test battery and alternator, costs about $2 on Ebay or Amazon.
I had the hatch ajar last week. I pulled in, from my neighbors an couldn't figure out why my interior light was still on. I closed the passenger door again, still on. So I lifted the hatch about 4" again , slaam , still on. Third time , slaam, as I went in the house. I was looking for my phone, an it hit me, why the hatch wouldn't close... Soon, I went an bought a new phone!
An ole Bellsouth rotary phone, would have took that!
