running lights on when brake pedal pressed

2004 limited coupe. Whenever the brake pedal is pressed my front running lights(led) turn on. When the running lights are turned on by switching them on the brake lights turn on. I've gone through grounds and cleaned them up, issue still persists. any ideas? thanks.

yup, that was it. took out the bulb and put it back in and it went away. Thanks!

I think some bulbs will fit 180 degrees out of the correct position and the bulb terminals short circuit the other bulb circiuit.
That’s what I recall.
