TCM tuning at Eurocharge National in Houston, TX
I paid for a TCM for my SRT6 several years ago, but did not send my TCM to them for tuning in their shop. I discussed this with them back then, as well as two weeks ago, and they confirmed my credit for $300. However, after I had shipped my TCM to them last week, I called them back about something different, when they informed me for the first time that EUROCHARGE COULD NO LONGER TUNE TCMs (transmissions) for the Crossfires because they have been denied access to the Star program required by Merceds Benz. David Stinnet of Eurocharged offered me a refund before I asked for my TCM to shipped back to me. Poof went the entire $300 I paid them. I do not plan to do business with them any longer, after several years of patronage.

Who's David Stinnett? I literally talked to Jerry about it last weekend and he told me a price and to send my TCU over. My TCU is in Houston right now and I have not been told there's a problem.
David spoke with authority as if he were a manager or owner, etc, but I do not know him personally. Good luck with getting your TCM tuned. Perhaps Houston can send the TCM to another E.dealer who has the Star program. You might want to call them on Brittmore.
Just heard back from the owner of Eurocharged Houston. I know there's two owners and maybe the other one is David, I'm not sure. I was just advised that yes they can tune my TCU. My TCU is still at Legacy (long story), so they haven't tuned it yet. I'm not sure why they told you they can not tune your TCU.

The manual mode option requires clearing adaptations with STAR AND it has to be done while the TCU is plugged into a car.
Since we no longer have a working access in house to an E55, C32, or SRT6 to clear adaptations, we decided to no longer offer the MANUAL mode option for the TCU.
We can still do TCU tuning (rpm, final drive change, faster shifting, etc), just not manual mode

Since my first conversation with David, he and I have resolved the matter to our mutual satisfaction. Instead of losing the entire sum, I will be credited for tuning the ECU on the present SRT6 I now own. I can have the TCM tuned WITH manual mode elsewhere.
