My auction special is getting put back together having found a diner door and interior trim. I realize I need some programing, SOS, but curious why the only thing that comes on, on the dash is the battery cymbal when the key is turned. before the start run stop. Also have two small wires hanging under the dash, cloth covering maybe -20 gauge. ideas. The radio was borrowed from the car before auction, any ideas for a seamless new one that goes with the car. Do not start multiple threads on your problem, keep all the questions and answers in the same place.
Multiple threads confuses every one and you will get less interest.
A perfect radio would not solve your problems, If you can hot wire the car you are a genius as nobody else can. Trying to do it will cause more problems and I think you have enough already.

 

{;ease delete my post. I'm sorry I didn't know I was supposed to add to my existing thread for a different issue. Curious how hot wiring came into play or that the radio would have anything to do with my main issue. I was asking for ideas on a replacement radio to match the décor and don't know what the smaller wire are for... Again I'm sorry for my ignorance

 

You asked about hot wiring in your first post, the radio is the least of your worries. Having a radio that works in a car that does not work is not much good.
