Default Battery/Electronic Issue

Hello,

4 years ago I bought a Crossfire ZH from 2004 - it has now 30K km.
Last week I had the following issue:
  • I haven't use my car for a few months & I charged the battery (not fully charged)
  • Car stopped after 5 kilometers driving
  • Impossible to restart it, starter wasn't making any noise but the motor fan was on at quite high speed
  • Electric windows, radio,... continued functioning
  • I called the garage which came, charged the battery, check the usual issues but it didn't start.
  • They tow the car, and tried to restart it a few days later and miracle, it worked but they never managed to find the issue.
I got my car back (battery fully charged), drove 30 km in the last 2 days but now, impossible to restart it.

Any idea/suggestion?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Davy

DaveCrocket also do not let the battery become weak in storage. Low voltage seems to cause a failures in several moduls which are very expensive to repair or replace. Keep a battery tender on the car if in storage.
