Question Will Not Start

My 2006 Crossfire base coupe V6 will not start. Recently installed camshaft and Crankshift sensors. Doing fine and driving good, Driving from grocery shopping taking my daughter home it would not start. Tried and tried. No go. I notice its done this about 4 times in a two year period. Usually it will start. But now NOTHING. My mechanic checked it out and says it is the Skim Module Security System. Do I need to take it to the Dealer or can a mechanic fix it? I've heard horror stories about this that not even Dealers could remedy. HELP! Pie

When you turn the key on does the cooling fan go real fast? If it does it is your RCM. It's a lot cheaper than a screem . Do not go to a dealer they can not get a screem since the only company around that repaird them is SOS diagnostics. To get it repaired you must send them your screem module, ecu and I believe one key. Their web sight will give you or your mechanic info including the removal process. I would try the RCM (relay control module) first since it is plug and play.

What exactly is it doing/not doing when you attempt to start?
Does the engine turn over?
Can you try to start more than 3 times? (3 tries then nothing points to SKREEM).

Just received Email. Okay. Hey Zeracer, it is not the RCM so my mechanic says. My mechanic does not have the tech to fix it. My mechanic says its the SCREEM. He referred me to another mechanic and they advised me to get the lock smith, Jeremy to unlock and do a diagnosis. Jeremy agreed to come. I hooked him up with my mechanic and now I am waiting to hear from both. However, I will forward your information to them. My mechanic, Kevin did say the dealers suck at fixing this. Especially the dealers in Wilmington, Delaware. I only get service from David Chrysler in Glen Mills, PA. But I will follow your advice to seek tech to repair. Really tricky from what I am reading here. I love my CF and not willing to part with it right now, I do need a second vehicle and looking for a small pick up truck. My classic was stolen out of a garage which was a secure lot. Inside Job. So sad. Anyhow thank you to you and the other gentleman I believe Tigue from AZ. I will follow through with all information you gave me as well as others and see what happens. I really appreciate the Crossfire Forum. Actually my family has known of CFF way before 2019. Appreciate your expertise and support. Thanks

So it must be cranking 2 or 3 times then it won't crank anymore until battery is disconnected then reconnected. Correct?
How did the mechanic determine that the RCM was okay?
