Short Shift kit
I'm pretty sure this isn't out yet, but I thought I would check.
I have also thought of making my own custom job. I just installed a MOMO shift **** and think that the shifter is too tall now. I love my new **** but hate the fact that it is about an inch taller than the old one. Has anybody cut the stock shaft to make the throw shorter? I think you could cut at least a half inch off without any problems (that's if memory serves me). Has anybody had any thoughts on this subject?

shift ****...
i original purchase a momo ****...but i didn't care for the added 1" in height. and i didn't want to hack my car...especially if i wanted to put the stock **** back on at resale.
so...i then decided to purchase an 04' m/b slk automatic black leather shift ****. this **** is classy and looks as if it belong there imo. it also, fit as the crossfire stock **** does...height and all.
i bet m/b has a nice "6 speed" leather **** available (c class model).

I would call these people as I only here the best about them...see if they can build you one despite their website mentioning BMW and Cadillac. Keep us updated.
