Talking about Vadium...just was part of a recent discussion with him answering some other MB members questions about the SRT-6 and Crossfire's in general...his posted response:

So far Crossfire guys turned out to be posers.

Ones that are interested in mods - have no budget.

HARSH but true. Alot of people talk the talk, but don't walk the walk. For example the group buy offer from Eurorev, everyone wants power but, only a few have actual taken the plunge. If vadim really did make that statement, its only because he gets alot of question but very few buyers. But this is only my opinion!

More talk then buyers is basically the case for any type of retail business and I would assume even worse for the automotive customizing section but is nothing new. Esp. with supposedly some new car manful. "watching" what some of there customers do (i.e. Evo owners having there car's flagged in the companies service computer system when that car is spotted performing at local racing events; "black boxes" on some models that the dealer can download information on the car as to if/how many times the car has been redlined, etc.) I have no idea what extent, if any, of truth there is to any of these rumors but I really don't blame some owners for not being the first on the block to try new mods on there car. This view should not be a surprise to Vadim. Even though later on in the post he tries to back track on his foolish comment, he has lost at least one future buyer from it...

Just speaking on the behalf of myself on the Eurorev group buy ECU, the company has yet to post back the hard facts I have asked for (price/models for). I fully understand they probably have a steady amount of questions and business each day but before I even think about completing any sort of online business I make sure the major details of the transaction are clearly laid out.

i would say of every car forum, i have participated in this one is least likely to jump on mods for cars, be it price, warranty, whatever. the only thing that holds me back is a lack of funds, but i know plenty of guys on here have the cash to do big mods, just not the desire.

Has Euro-Rev proved the viability of the upgrade ?

If Euro-Rev wants to approach me and install them on my car for my next event with the Racer Factory, I will evaluate them. Here's a challenge for Euro-Rev... I'll bring my car to their facility have them installed... Run the car at Spring Mountain Raceway on October 22 & 23... If the underdrive pulleys prove to make a noticeable difference in the car, I will purchase them after the event... If not, I will give them back...

Let's see if they put their money where their mouth is...
