I will let you know how things work out, and maybe I'll get lucky and get a free dyno test to prove the pulley's numbers. until then... Keep them Clean & Shiny!!! Also before I forget, Jesse at Eurorev, told me today that he would clear his calendar, and be ready to meet with us on Sunday, August, 7th for the P.C.H ride through Oceanside, Ca. HERE'S YOUR CHANCE TO PUT YOUR MONEY WERE YOUR MOUTH IS. If you really want the e.c.u upgrade. Then show some character, and email me to let me know if your interested in the cruise and or the chipping of your car. This is a SMOKING DEAL, on a fantastic and reliable upgrade for your car! And it also depends on the other mod you may have: exhaust, ecu,air filters/etc...

i've heard 13, i'd guess around ten, but as far as dollar/hp it might be the best mod out there. let us know, i'm excited to hear what you think. i've just been waiting for someone else to get it before i made my decision. if all goes well, i'll be chipped and have pulleys by the end of next month.

I sent an email to evosport about the pulley and horsepower. They said they have never even installed in on the Crossfire/SLK but should be good for 10-15 HP in general at the wheels.

Can't wait to see what happens here.

it will affect the warranty as much as any other part that is on and it's relation to what goes wrong.

Ok, I am all for Underdrive Pulleys, and its nice to see some available for our cars. I'm guessing the gain to the wheels is about 9+ HP. I would say a fair bet, it would be somewhere between 7-10/11 HP+ being put down on the ground. Well what ever it is, I know I'm down for the cause. I'm sure I'll buy one down the line.

do you guys know if the pulley will have any adverse effect on the electrical system in the car. Some pulleys will cause the car to be unable to recharge the car while in idle.

in order to fully charge on most cars, the engine must be spinning far more than just an idle. the same is even more true on motorcycles --

is an underdrive belt necessary for this conversion too?

How hard of an install is it?

I know on the SRT-4s the pulleys are very hard to install. If I recall you had to "bash" the new one on and pray that you never have to take it off. I'm sure a german engineered one fits a little better.

If it's anything like the install needed for the SRT-6 (which I assume it is) it should be a pretty straight forward install without any "bashing" needed.

the only way it would have an adverse effect on your electrical system is if you were running some sort of high powered audio system, otherwise you should be cool.

The install it shouldn't be to bad. The thing that can take up some time, and a lot of patience, is your belt. Those can be a real pain in the as*. I would recommend putting the car on a lift, rather then a couple of jack Stands. Especially if your not so much of the mechanic. Sometimes you'll be adding a lot more work for yourself, as well as increase your chances of banging up your car, or yourself. When you don't know "How To's" or the "Do's and Don'ts" with auto mechanics.
