Hello. I have this cable in the trunk that's not connected to anything, it looks like a sound/amplifier cable.
Any idea what the cable is and where it should be connected?

Is your stereo the Infinity OEM unit? Does all speakers respond to the contours you select if the Infinity is OEM? Depending on your results to these questions then it might be an added woofer or amp that was installed in the lower hatch area.

It looks like wiring for a subwoofer. The two black connectors that are taped over are the correct size to be RCA (audio) jacks. The black wire is going to the ground screw. The red wire would be for positive.

 

Yes it's the OEM Infinity unit. I think the previous owner installed like a woofer in the trunk but sold the car without it. Thank you for the answers guys.
