Yeah another P0410 problem - Help Needed
2005 Chrysler Crossfire Roadster Limited ... I have owned the vehicle 2 months and have the P0410 Secondary Air Injection System code after about 2 weeks of owning it. I am looking for suggestions as to what to look at or check next ... …
I have done the following … replaced both right and left Air valves, replaced both O2 sensors, replaced Secondary air pump, verified the little blue check valve is working, checked all the hoses associated with the secondary air system, and had the RCM rebuilt ….. any ideas or suggestions where to look or what to check?
I have read most post and watched most videos on the P0410 error code ... I'm at a loss as to what I do next ... I'm relying on the knowledge base here ... Thank you

I think P0410 can also be related to the EGR Valve, if you checked all connections going to and from it I'd suggest cleaning it. They can get really clogged and mine gave me the P0410. Cleaned it and ran it for a couple weeks after in order to pass SMOG in CA. Worth a try!
Thank you for the input, I will check the EGR ... but on a good note, checked things over again and cleared the error code ... started and stopped 3 times and the Check Engine Light did NOT come on ... guessing it took a little time for the computer to accept the rebuilt RCM ...

Anyone wanting to get their RCM rebuilt, email tighed1@hotmail.com for the details.
I replace relays, redo bad solder joints AND ad the Me So Horny mod (horn works without the key).

Removing the solenoids is tricky if you do not know how, and reflowing the solder at the dry joints can be tricky as well if you do not clean the posts.
The correct size iron of the correct wattage, solder sucker or wick and the correct solder are essential. The solenoids are not that hard to get either.
As I always say ‘How hard can it be?’
I have had this error for a while. I went to my Chrysler Dealer, and they no longer have trained mechanics for the Crossfire. I went to Mercedees, and they told me to go away (I still have the email). bastards. So I decided to do it my self. I went to Army Moter Officer School in 1977 so I am not by any means a knowledgeable mechanic. I bought a PDF copy of the shop manual from eManualonline for $27 US I went and bought the cheapest OBD2 scanner I could find. Amazon had a MOTOPOWER MP69033 for $25 US. I then went through the system as per chapter 9-426 (P0410) Secondary Air Injection System. I checked all the fuses in the relay control module then unseated inspected and reseated all fuses and connections. Power was correct with my multimeter and all the wiring looked good. The air hoses were intact and had no holes or tears. I ordered
Secondary Air Pump 0001403785 Compatible with MercedesBenz C-Class W202 C240 CLK320 CL500 E320 E55 ML430 ML500 S500 AMG from Amazon for $81 US. It looked correct and when I removed the old one and put them side by side they were identical. I mounted it back on the car and reconnected the hose and power connector. Started the car and the check engine was gone. Turned off the car and used the code reader to check codes and they were all gone. I have a NYS inspection this month so I will see how it goes. Total cost to me was around $135 US Which is a very small fraction of what a dealer would get and total time was a little over an hour.
