Default windshield washer pump replacement

My windshield washers have stopped working. I checked the fuses and they are okay. Does any one know what the Mopar part and the corresponding Mercedes part number is. Also are there any other manufacturers for the pump.

Thanks

Mercedes part number is 2218690121 it is not expensive. OE is VDO. You will need to change a grommet also not sure what part number.

Are you sure it is the pump and not a plugged hose? How did you test the pump? It is hard enough to get to the pump to replace it, let along buying a replacement and finding out the pump isn't the problem...

If you have used plain water in the reservoir then you can exp it had it had water in the reservoir you can expect slime to have built up and clogged the nipples and or hose.
I got my car from Florida and it had water in the reservoir and it had clogged the nipples, hose and the outlet from the reservoir. I had to take the reservoir out as it was filled with water and slime.
If you take it out consider replacing the reservoir as they tend to get brittle and crack. Also clean out the tank area as the passenger side of the cowl drains into this area and dumps dirt and debris in this is area. There is a PDF ‘HowTo Replace the Reservoir’ and you should read this as it explains how to open, clean and adjust the jet from it.
Look at the nipple first and if it is clogged with slime you know you have to clean the system, unplug the lines to the nipples and see if they are dirty, listen for the pump motor all the time.

The pump is not running. Before when the washers were working I could hear the pump running. Now nothing!

One more question. What is the Mercedes part number for the washer reservoir fluid level switch and the rubber grommet.

Thanks again

I found the pump number to be A 210 869 08 21 and the level sensor as A 220 540 00 45.
Your pump and level switch should have the Mercedes part number on them if they are the original parts.

I've got the same issue on my 2007 Coupe. But I'll troubleshoot the failure if it ever cools off!

This link to wiper & washer system for a 2004 M-B SLK 320 will also give you part numbers that work (not everything, but most): CLICK. The Crossfire washer reservoir isn't heated.

The attached Forum DIY document probably will help in both our efforts.

Thanks for the info. I believe my issue is with slime build up in the reservoir.. It didn't get driven much during the pandemic and I think the fluid went bad.

Your Crossfire is a great color!
