Recently purchased chrome and stainless steel accessories from CTD-Germany. I purchased the window surround, mirror covers, front grille and side vent covers. This question is for those of you who have installed these items. The only part I am having trouble with is the side vent covers, instruction say double faced tape is included. Upon checking the parts There was 2 tubes of label less adhesive, and no instructions on how or where to apply the adhesive. I really don't want to put any adhesive on the car unless needed. Any info or help would be greatly appreciated, I contacted CTD-Germany and I am awaiting a reply.

 

I don't have an answer for you but, post your views of these parts, as I have been looking at them. I am sure I am not the only one.

The adhesive is like GOOP. Clean the side vents with alcohol, allow to dry, then put adhesive evenly in inside of side vents. Press on firmly and hold and then tape down. Wait 24 hours and presto beautiful side vents. I wash my car every four days and they are on there good.

How thick do you put the goop on the side trim? Did you have any squeeze out? if so how did you clean it up?

Who did the painting of your brake calipers? What color are they? How is the paint adhering to the caliper...any peeling?
