Default Odd error messages

We were taking the car out earlier and suddenly the fluid warning light came on. We were moving to a place to turn around and the light went off. As we were waiting to turn, the windshield wiper fluid light came on and then went off. Unless we suddenly lost hose integrity, we should have fluid and we periodically add windshield wiper fluid (and, it gets checked during service). Any thoughts?

Either you are low on windshield washer fluid or the tank is leaking which is very very common. There is no dipstick so it can't get checked during service.

Brian, the W/W fluid does evaporate some and does so depending on a few conditions like high heat/low humidity and changes in temperature during seasonal changes. If the light comes on, try adding 16oz of fluid (your choice). If it goes out, add some more until your happy the bottle is full. One note, when the bottle is full it'll leak out of the overflow hose inside the fender well. It will not flow to the top of the bottle UNLESS that overflow is plugged and cannot drain the excess. Hope it is just low and not a leak, time will tell.
