Default SKREEM work around mod?

I'm sure there are a thousand reasons why but here goes! Seems like some engineer could create a module to replace the SKREEM Security System. Just do away with it and create a mod to where the engine runs and the doors will lock and unlock. Someday it will all come to an end for the Crossfires if not due to lack of system parts support.

Please not again - this has been beaten to death here.

Please read the threads on this, our German friend can explain to you just how difficult that is. The system was designed to be hard to get around because cars were being stolen in the EU and taken behind the Russian border. It was mandated to make it impossible to drive off with a car under it's own power, so a very complex system of interactive modules was developed. One is the new ECU and the other is the SKREEM. It is not easy because a design goal was for it to NOT be EASY.

So here is what you can do, go to this link and read all of Viper-666's posts and threads on the topic. He is the forum's authority on ridding a car of a SKREEM. His knowledge is as high as anyone I know, yet, he has not managed to pull this off in any "production line" sort of way. Again, this is a well-thought-out problem that insurance companies said had to be fixed, or car insurance would not be affordable in the affected region(s) of the world.
