That all depends on the locksmith you go to.

1. You have to have the key first. You can find blanks on Ebay https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...e+key&_sacat=0
there is a link.

2. Your going to need the little transponder in the crossfire key fobs good luck with that one.

3. Could pay a crazy amount and just get 2 new keys done, but it's very rare to find a locksmith that can do both make the key and program it for you. So careful you don't want to get ripped off.

 

Most locksmiths can't help you except to cut a key blank..

 

There are three businesses that are guaranteed to get you a working fob, they are mentioned on this forum often. Going to a locksmith who promises to fix you up is a waste of time.
You had best stick to one of the three mentioned on this forum. NeedsWings, SOS, and the Mercedes Swap Shop.
The last seems the cheapest and is reliable.

 

I used this guy, made me 2 new working keys. Original fob never worked after. Couldn’t figure that out. I don’t mind, as I don’t like carrying the fob. Think it was $350 for the two keys. He had to pull the SKREEM module out to read the chip in it. Nice guy.
original fob key still works. But remote doesn’t.
