Default 2008 crossfire limited acceleration

Is there anything to make the initial acceleration faster. It feels like the car is a ford model t when trying to get to 45.I do not race I was just wondering if there was something to make the 0-45 faster.

Lots of posts about:
-Larger throttle body
-Cold air intake
-Flashed ECU
-Programmed TCU

There lots here, put on a set of reading glasses and dig into 20 years of knowledge.

enjoy the ride

If you have the Automatic Transmission this simple procedure is likely to give you the improvement you are looking for
Its called a "Throttle Body Reset"

The Throttle is "Drive By Wire" and adapts to your particular driving style.

To do a Throttle Body Reset follow this simple procedure

Keep the key in for the entire process.

1) Turn the key to the on (not start) position, the position just before the starter turns over.

2) Press the gas pedal FIRMLY to the floor with the key in the "on" position.

3) Hold the pedal FIRMLY to the floor for five seconds, then turn the key back to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.

4) Wait 2 minutes for a full reset to occur.

Summary: Key on, pedal down FIRMLY for 5 seconds, key off, pedal up, wait 2 minutes.

If this doesn't work, disconnect your negitive battery cable for 20 minutes.

This will re-set the parameters in the drive-by-wire throttle body
