Hi guys

I’m struggling I have SRT6 07 Plate, only 40,000 miles immaculate car. All of a sudden for some reason both key fobs have stopped working I can gain access through drivers door and use internal switch to open passenger door and boot.

I have tried change battery’s
I have also tried following a multiple of tutorials how to re scenic the key fob with no avail, I have been in touch with a multiple of garages who very rudely laugh at me and advise they done deal with crossfires or SRT6.

any support or advise would be much appreciate

First, where are you located and second, does the key start the car? If so, you just need top resync the keys. Do you have an owners manual?

 

I hope you sort your issue, but I gotta say making your first post almost 20 years after joining this forum must be a record!

I would advise contacting Needswings.com or the Mercedes Swap Shop (MSS) they are both experienced with key fobs and programming.

 

does the lock/unlock button on the center console still work?

 

Is you central locking pump working ? if you have a leak in the trunk and water gets into the pump it will fail, That pump is what supplies the vacuum to activate the door locks the keyfob turns the pump on
