I managed to loose my 2nd key fob and have found them difficult to locate on line like I have other cars. I'm looking for an uncut key inside a fob that I can get cut and programmed. Any suggestions?
1) Members have tried them, and been disappointed.
2) They are, by far, more expensive than Josh or Rob.
3) Rob and Josh both own Crossfires and work hard to support the Crossfire Community.

A slight hijack of the thread. I just picked up a base 2006 roadster with low miles. It has 2 key fobs and both keys will start the car, but only one key will lock/unlock the door and run the flashers. I replaced the batteries, thinking that may help, but it did not help the key fob that looks more worn.
It does not sound like as big of a problem that some folks are experiencing with their keys, but it is annoying.
Does this require the "send in" and "$250 a key" solution?
One method.
To synchronize the key fob transmitter
This may be required after replacing the batteries or when receiving a replacement fob.
Directions as stated in the Owner Manual.
Aim the transmitters red eye at the vehicle.
Briefly press the lock or unlock button twice.
Within 30 seconds, insert the key in the ignition.
Turn the key to the ON/Run position.
The remote control function should again be operational.
Second method
PROCEDURE
Transmitter programming by the customer is done by performing the following steps: Insert the key into the ignition switch. 1. Press either the lock or unlock button momentarily twice.
2. Turn the key in the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position within 30 seconds.
