2005 Crossfire Base 6 sp 25k miles
Does anyone have a reliable source for FOB replacement/refurbishment. Tried a local locksmith to provide the fob and cut the key, then had tthe Chrysler dealership try to program it.
Car would start but shutdown right away. Also the lock and unlock buttons would not work.
Trying to find a reasonable cost source in the US.

Thanks for the thread. Tried it but could not find a source for the FOB. If you have a source I would really appreciate your help. Have only one FOB and it is not reliable.

Welcome to the best car forum around! Sounds to me like you have a FOB that is either the wrong FOB or one that is missing the chip for the car that the car accepts. More information is needed... Did you buy this car with it running already? The FOB's electronics are not required to actually run the car, it only needs the right key and the chip IN the FOB to start/run the car successfully (given everything else is working properly). IF your car ran fine and you were able to drive the car before, AND you did not open the FOB for any reason, the issue may be the SKREEM or a few other related modules in the car. Come back and give more information as asked.
