I just wanted to share my recent purchase from eBay. I ordered a new key fob shell as both of mine are starting to show their age and both have the loop missing for attaching a key chain. For $18.99 + shipping, I received the replacement shell in the mail yesterday and am quite happy with the fact that it is identical to the original, only darker in colour (nice!) I'll swap out all the inner parts and replace with new batteries.
The fob was nicely packaged for delivery and comes with complete dismantling instructions which are pretty much identical to the instructions found on this forum...

Here is a picture of mine after it was reassembled, with it are the pieces of the old one which broke up as I carefully took the old one apart. Be very careful when sliding a blade between the halves of the old one, it is easy to ruin the PC components. Mine was really well glued together so brute force was required.

 

Mine was $12.99, free shipping. I had no problems taking the guts out of the old one and swapping in using the forum how-to.

If your ignition sticks at all (I haven't gotten around to doing the fix yet), be careful as you can pop the new housing open pretty easily. Pretty frustrating when you're sitting in a parking lot crawling around looking for springs that went flying, unable to start the car...

 

Yep, saw that....they don't ship to Canada.

 

My intention is to use a drop of glue as OEM spec and as recommended, otherwise just dropping the Fob on a hard surface could very well pop it open...

 

Ah looks much better than the OEM. I would buy it.. might have to cross the border to get it though from UPS Store.
