Many want to get rid of the Chrysler logo, so it may be a rare bird.

 

Mine's got the M-B logo in it...guess that's OK!

 

Consider it added anti theft enhancement.. someone finds it they'll be in the parking lot looking for an MB

Good scoop on the $7.59 ones - I see he just raised his price to $57.59! must have realized he was selling too cheap - I am sure he will lower the price when the sales die off.

Got mine in the mail today and changed over both key fobs to the new shell. Pretty easy to do, and they look great! I was even able to transfer the Chrysler logos over to the new fobs! Not bad for $15!

 

The item is now back to $7.59. Must have been a mistake. Mine is on its way.

 

I think some of these sellers up the price when they have no product to sell just to keep the article up on eBay.
Anyway, at the $7.59 price I got another one, even though I do not need it.

 

Thanks for the heads up. Bought 2 myself very cheap shipping. Also don't need them but black color looks much better than the ones I have.

 

Received 2nd Fob. This one cheaper and from China...took forever to arrive. Almost 7 weeks! It's identical to the 1st one I purchased. Again, taking the original FOB apart was nothing short of crude destruction...installed everything into the new shell and all is working as should.

 

Finally got em.

 

I got one as a spare, I do not need it really so you can have it if you want beaner. Just let me know. It is the cheap one.

The eBay vendor linked above has sold out, and I didn't find anyone else on eBay at or below that price tonight, so I looked elsewhere.

A seller in Hong Kong I have bought a couple things from in the past (through eBay and directly) shows the same fob shell, @ US$6.98 for one, to US$6.28 in a lot of 100. See: banggood description for fob shell

They provided good communication and customer service before, so I ordered three today (@ $6.59). Should arrive in a couple weeks. Banggood is a wholesale distributor of literally millions of articles, and offers drop shipping to resellers. Some eBay vendors may be buying from Banggood.

Will report if I have any issues with my order or the parts!

Bang good is where the one that I ordered from eBay came from. It works well. I followed the directions on How to open a key fob without destroying it. It didn't take too long to arrive (maybe a week to 10 days).

 

How do you take them apart? Does anyone have instructions of suggestions?
