Ordered the AMG performance engine mount set for my SRT-6 Roadster off of needswings but my mechanic says they are too wide and has raised the engine as much as possible. The part number is A 240 240 08 17, which is for the CLK 63 AMG. Can someone help us out and tell me if it’s an issue on our end or if we ordered the wrong part?
Thank you all in advance 🙏
Comparison of old and new. The listing on needswings. The lack of fitment 😂
A while back I bought a set of up graded engine mounts for my Limited. They look very similar to yours that are pictured. Lemforder# 25407 01 009 Mercedes # A 203 241 11 13 was written on the box, but 203 240 1217 032-44 23 W 04 was embossed on the base of the mount. They where definitely too tall to fit just lifting engine. I had to get the regular ones that where hard to find new. Think I found them on ebay. The Lemforder would only mount if I completely pulled the engine. I think there was a mistake made in the supply system numbering. I question even if pulling the engine and getting them mounted if perhaps the engine would be so high that it could hit the hood.
Best to return them.
