Scored an AMG engine plaque from cruzinquick's boy hooley when he was trying to retorfit a S/C to a C55. Since he already had a plaque on his C55 and there was one on the S/C as well I figure I would inquire about the plaque he might not need.

They're kind of a hard part to find since you either need a standalone AMG S/C or find a wrecked AMG (like moparbust). It really is too bad that our engines didn't come with these from the factory when it was well known that the engine was sourced from AMG because the engine looks "complete" with it on.

I didn't know about it, but good for you for being on the ball. I ordered the one being sold here over a year ago and never put any of the badges on yet.

 

im so jealous you have this. i ALMOST got my hands on one last year. ill have to keep trying. i WILL get one eventually even if i have to break in to a mercedes dealership!

 

Yours looks great. The ones sold by SRTSIX look just as good though.

I like the SRTSIX one too. That would be plenty good enough for me.
