Whine noise - cuts out at 27mph - any ideas
2005 NA whining noise that spools up and then cuts out at 27mph. Here’s a video…Any ideas on what it is?

Sorry, I've never heard that noise before. Is your car an automatic or a stick. Were the windows open or closed. Have you tried driving by someone who is listening, and see if they can identify from what part of the car it's coming from. Could be a pulley, wheel bearing - something that is rotating. Maybe a small chance, but it could be some kind of debris that's lodged in your suspension and only responds at a certain speed.

Have you checked your driveshaft carrier bearing?
Either that or your car is haunted! I've never heard anything like that before.
