How Many Bar Boost with This Build?
Gentlemen and Gentlewomen,
I’m building an E37 based engine. I’m cryogenically freezing the engine except for the heads themselves. Every other moving element is being frozen.
I’m using gapped Total Seal rings. Someone told me to skip the gapless style. I still have time to change the order. Are there any opinions as to whether I should use the gapless style ring?
My primary question is, with the 3.7 L displacement and a 178 mm crankshaft pulley, what level of boost will I achieve with a 63 mm pulley on the supercharger? I apologize, but I have looked through threads trying to find this information. Yet I cannot.
Any constructive input would be gratefully appreciated. I posted on the Benz forms, but nobody bothered to respond. I searched there and I’ve searched here. I’ve been as diligent as possible, but nobody seems to have an answer.
Kindly,
Miguel
