Default Headlight bulb access covers.

2005 Xfire dust getting into my right side headlight. Looked at the headlight back and one of the two rubber covers is missing. Two questions. First anyone have an idea how to flush out the inside of the assembly? Secondly, any idea what to cover the opening to keep dust from getting into headlight? I've already thought of stretching a balloon over opening but that's very durable material. Hopefully I can find an original cover that doesn't cost an arm and leg for such a small item. Thanks

I had moisture in the passenger side headlight and tried this method.
That was a few years ago and no problems since.
Is it dust or moisture in your light?
There was a kit for this at one time but is unavailable now.

Measure the diameter of the opening where the cap was. Then you can find a cap to fit that size.
There are a lot on ebay

Yup, I had already looked on eBad and found one for Xfire "BUT" $40! Don't want it that bad. Haven't had a chance to measure yet but one for a Mercedes during same time period should fit. Any ideas how I can clean the inside of the light assembly? "Maybe" remove the assembly and flood with alcohol / water, shake vigorishly, pour out thru breather hole and let evaporation take care of condensation.

"OR" take off one of the other three and measure it! Fixing to mail off my ECU and another used one to have the used one cloned for my car.

If it's just dust, you might be able to use a large pipe cleaner or tape a rag to something flexible & wet it with water to get the dust out. Just wipe it around.
