Default No crank no start but the RCM isn’t at fault?

Hi fellow crossiers I had the good old no crank no start so I got a new RCM plugged it in and it fired straight up! Couldn’t be happier but after a few hours the dreaded no crank no start has happened again, I’ve bench tested the new RCM I got and all the relays are working as they should! So what else could this be? It’s got all the same symptoms where no start no crank and the radiator fan spins up really fast, if anyone could he please me out here I’d be much appreciated,

cheers.

Check the fuses on top the RCM and look closely at the contact connections: some have had trouble with those connectors.

PS How is the cars's battery? Does it show over 12.5 volts on a volt meter? Do the doors lock/unlock with the FOB? You can also try discounting the negative battery cable from the battery for a couple minutes and then reconnect. See if that changes anything.

Check that two of the middle relays remain closed with the key in the ON position. If the Engine relay isn't closing, manually close the relay or wrap a rubber band around it to see if she starts.
If it does ya might wanta send the RCM to me to get it rebuilt.

hello mate the battery’s brand new and reads as it should, you are correct about the fuses, I bought all new and replaced all of them and now it starts up every time, none of them had the little thin connected bit snapped but a few of them had some sort of soot where it looks like they’ve been burnt, thanks for the advice mate you’ve made me one happy chappy
