Default 04 electrical

Well just got a good deal on a running 5sp but many issue to sort out surprise no surprise.

- blower motor resistor
- low beams not working
- no brake lights
- right turn signal light on dash constantly illuminated, not working and sorting hazard switch out if presses.
-bas esp light on brakes need work
- valve cover gasket leaking on exhaust and stinks
- headliner completely detached
- clunks from suspension on different corners when flexing

right now I’m just concerned about the bad esp issues and electrical lighting stuff.

brake lights not sure yet. Nothing comes when pressed but I hear relay switch working. Does that mean the actual brake switch is also working?

turn signal light on cluster I’m thinking multifunction switch. I disconnected all light switches switches and Harvard switch and nothing killed the lights from being illuminated except yellow relay in fuse panel.

thoughts direction?
Most problems s easy and solved but the turn signal and brake issues I need assistance

I do know that the hazard switch can disable the turn signal. Poke at a few times and see if that is working. Mine get's stuck and I have to mess with it. When I take that panel apart, some electrical cleaner is in order.

I am leaning towards multifunctional switch. I disconnected all 4 corners and hazard switch and still shorted. No fuse breaks the short but pulling the multifunction relay does stop the short.

You can try to spray some contact cleaner into the base of the multi-function lever. Then move it around. Sometimes dirt gets on the contacts and causes trouble.
