Default 2004 crossfire, P0300, random missfire all 6 cylinders

Good day all, I was lucky enough to save an 04 from salvage, the guy literally posted an SOS "Save or Salvage". So I rescued this sweet pup for $760 after the owner couldnt figure out the no start issue. After 2 days of research and bench testin I narrowed it down to the engine cntrol relay on the RCM. Ordered that and replced for $150. Fired right up and I hit the highway, hit 95 before realizing i was only in 4th gear, its a 6 speed manual. It ran geat for several days. Then 2 days ago running through town it went essentially into limp mode, flashing engine light. Shut it down and restarted, light on no flash. Drove it to auto zone a few blacks away. Random misfire all 6,and crank position sensor. I replaced it, and it ran fine for about 20 min, hit higher RPM in crazy traffic and began the whole process over. Im not sure if its a relearn procedure or whats next. Please advise? After writing this I'm going to go ahead and change camshaft senosrs. Ordered everyting bosch. Just ready to have this thing running smoothly again.

There are many solutions to your P0300 DTC; many cost zero dollars to fix. Go to the search box in the upper right corner and type in P0300 then just to the left where it says threads click google.
Start with the obvious , check battery and alternator output, check all fuel injector and coil electric connections as well as spark plugs. If you take a coil pack off the car look at the back of the coil for cracks. That will tell you your coils are getting pretty old. spark plus? wires?? etc etc High RPM problem...Check fuel pressure.

Welcome to the forum!! Lots of info here and we have planned events throughout the year. Come meet some fellow Crossfire owners.

just replaced camshaft sensor, and cleaned the air filters, good lord i bet them things been in there for 15 years. Going to order those today also, but blew em out real good with air compressor. I will check plugs and coils also. I just feel like thats not likely to have all 6 fail at the same time. But warrants good inspection. Thanks all

I would start with the sparkplugs. They are overdue anyway. If there is signs of valve cover iol leaks do them at the same time. It makes it easier the get to the plugs. If you didn't know, there are 12 plugs, two per cylinder. Lot's of info here and using the search feature on this forum.
