Default Rear View Camera

To help eliminate those pesky blind spots... particularly while reversing... has anyone fitted a Video Camera... and LCD screen?

I would be interested in all experiences and any advice.

Thanks Andrew,

I like the idea of mounting threw the rear number plate...

I notice there is an existing hole in this location... on the CF recessed panel, although
there seems to be something else (another panel) about 3/4" - behind the hole. What's that for?

Does/has anyone got specific CF fitting instructions or diagrams available...?

I had a rearview camera installed & it is great. I don't have to tell anybody on this site about the blind spots. I have it running through an Alpine IVA-D300 head unit & it is mount where the rear license plate is. They had to cut a tiny hole in the plate to have it pop through. You can't even notice it is there, that is how small it is, about the size of a quarter. I can either manually have it on when i am driving & use it as my rearview or it automatically switches on & display on the screen once I pop the car into reverse. I do not have any pics of it, actually I have no pics at all on the site. I am not too good with the whole pic & computer thing, but if you are interested in seeing it let me know your e-mail & I can send you a pic from my cell phone.

hi there...
i just bought a sony LCD screen (XAV-a1) and its great joy. the sound increase alone was stunning.
i guess the next step is the rear view camera.
i never thought of installing it in the plate.
would you kindly post a model or a link!?
