Red face All I want for Christmas

Geez!!! Can't I get 50 - 70 HP somewhere for Christmas!? I think that would make a world of difference in how our XF's are looked upon on the street. And before someone's says,
" you can always trade it in on a SRT...stop it... please".

On a lighter note...

"Happy Holidays to all and be safe in 2006".

Yeah, I guess I should have said without costing to much money. I'm old school you know... swap a cam, change the carb for another type, bolt in or on type stuff. But with these computers and electronic ignition, you would think that there would be tuners out there that can document real hp gain and such, headers would be nice, possibly cams. I can't seem to get the real skinny on any of this stuff in this forum. OK, bit*h fest over. I just can't fork over $10,000 or so bucks to Kleeman, and like i said, 50 HP would be so nice, and razzleberry dressing, perhaps... a slice! :-)

There is a handful out there...but again, the high cost of aftermarket parts goes along with the brand of engine you have...With the low prices on the base/limited models on places like Overstock.com I can't see many people wanting to dump 10k for some moderate add-ons on a mid 20's car...

NICE! Merry Christmas. By the way, Dan I noticed your XF has the Eurorev chip, any noticeable difference? Did it raise the 6,200 rpm limit any?

My thanks, Carl

It does run out better... response thru all rpm mostly higher ones! Since I put the V8 Benz airbox which has larger filters and air chambers it really moves nice.
I get My NEW Cat today! It moves very nicely too.

Super Sprint Headers (will have to do some mods. to the pipes to make them fit) + 10 HP.

Brabus Cam Kit + 20 HP.

Still no cheap way to go...

No, I didn't say Cheap... just not alot. LOL. NOS, eh? Nah, Then I would have to paint it yellow/green and put on the coffee can tips... Oh yeah, and become 30 years younger.

Also, to HDDP, I read through your thread on the header installation... I'm not that brave right now. Plus it's way too cold up here in the northeast to take that engine out, but I did read it.

Dan, how many ponies are we talking. I'm not real familiar with the Jag. (is that a Ford-Jag)?

Thanks to all of you for your comments. I know we got a little off subject but, hey it's the Holidays, we're allowed to fall off sometimes.

The '99 XJR 370+ Hp. Under 6 second 0-60. I can't believe this '99 Jag is as new! I bought it from South Bay Lotus, they had over 30 Elise's in stock.
