Hey! Thanks a bunch! One question on digit 6, which in my case is a 6. The decode shows a "5" stands for "premium" but does not show what 6 stands for.

There is something wrong with the chart you have attached. It shows that the crossfire VIN starts with a "4" but every Crossfire VIN I've ever seen starts with a one (1).

I believe the "6" designates the car as an "SE" edition, which is a "Base" Roadster with SRT6 wheels and offered in Blaze Red only.
If the Crossfire is mfg in Germany, how come it doesn't start with a "W"
BMW: WBA....
Audi: WAULT......
North American codes are usually 1,2,3
Anyone know why?

Hmmm. interesting and somewhat confusing. I believe the 1 in the first digit really means "made for -- market" meaning 1 for US market. If you look at the 11th digit, which is "X" indicating the Osnabruck Germany assembly plant.
Still confused about the 6th and 7th digits tho.

Robby, Thanks for that PDF. Explains a lot...all except for position 7, which shows possibilities of 3, 6, 7 and 9. Mine is 5 in that position. No biggie tho, thatnks again!
