Mercedes New Type Bosch Drive-By-Wire Throttle Body Failing
You have to replace the whole throttle body if it fails.
The Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) contains two actual value potentiometers for detecting the position of the throttle
valve. The second potentiometer is designed to form a reference value. The system will switch over to the second
potentiometer if the first one fails. The TPS cannot be serviced separately. If the TPS fails, the Throttle Body must

hmmm, then how does that company claim to be able to rebuild the faulty DBW throttle bodies?
I guess you have to take one apart to be sure, maybe it's possible to install an AUX TPS?
