Default installing Lumbar support in MBZ seats

yes, yes, you can all thank me later for this wonderful find.

I was also thinking about adding some of that special NASA memory foam to the bottom seat.

I've thought about it, but have been too lazy to do it. However last night I went on a 4 hour drive around Fl, and at the end of the night I think I got enough motivation.

Are you ####ing me? It looks like one of those "Male Pregnancy" strap ons a henpecked husband would be forced to wear.

i've got a sore back too, but holy mother of God, I CAN'T thank you!

If it's that sore, wear a back brace, at least it doesn't ruin the interior of a vehicle.

Fine. Is there a photo showing the seat AFTER the 2" shave? NO? I'm sure there was a bloody good reason. If it sags at all it was a mistake that will not be easy to remedy.

BTW, I viewed the photos SA.

I'm seriously thinking of having an auto upholstery shop do the mod for me.
If I do, I'll post pics.
Currently, I use a lumbar pillow/cushion, as I did in my MB SLK.
The angle of these seats kills my lower back. I can't tilt it back far enough, and still have leg room, due to the bulkhead. Of course, after the SLK, I knew of this quirk, before I bought a Crossfire. So, I'm not complaining.

there is another lumbar mod that uses an air bag, you pump it up, with a lilttle bulb, I guess it can pull double duty. used it for when you cant get the pecker up for a third round. flip the pump over to vacum.
