How to: Fix seat belt squeak / rub on seat
Okay so I've had a problem where my seatbelt would rub against my seat (where it clicks in) while I was driving and would cause a very annoying squeaking noise. It apparently is also somewhat wearing down the leather, though not very noticable yet.. but I can imagine after a while it can progressively get noticable.
Anyway, the fix is ever so simple:

Take your pick! Try to get a small one that'll fit snug around the connector. Boom! Done!

Hi, everyone! Just got my 2005 Crossfire LTD in June & have only ever seen one other Crossfire (in Healdsburg, graphite ragtop) since then! Got the car washed & they ArmorAlled the interior to death. As a result, all the plastic parts squeaked and creaked. For the seatbelt squeak, I used a scrunchee. I finally washed off the ArmorAll & all is silent again. Love, love, love this car.
Would any of you guys mind taking pics of where you are putting this? I have a squeak from what appears to be the square hole that the seatbelt comes out of and i'm not sure if this is the same thing.
The squeak in my car is from the contact between the seat and the case around the locking mechanism, not inside the mechanism. It started when my car got Armoralled at the car wash.
