Can Anyone Recommend a Service Manual?
I recently purchased an '05 coupe and am having trouble finding a service/maintenance manual. Could anyone please provide the name and source of a manual that they found useful to work on their Xfire?
Thanks

As mentioned, this forum has all the info you need.
But if you want a hard copy, they appear on eBay all the time. I picked up the factory manuals for around $70 on eBay. Be patient.

Dang ZERACER you did his homework for him!
How's he gonna learn to search!?
Give a Crossfire member a link and he knows what he wanted to know.
Give him SEARCH and he knows everything!

Thank you, dudes! I have always babied my cars, doing most of the work on them myself. I sure don't want some kid at a Jiffee-Lube learning how to work on Crossfires with my car!

Be sure to give it time to fully download, there are more than 3000 pages. Also thanx to our astute Forum Members that have posted this.

So, this may be my dumb question of the day - but then, if I only have one such question today, it will be a VERY good day for me
.
Are there any significant changes to be noted if one were to use the 04/05 manual on an 06? If so, is there any set of such changes noted in some simple format?
Yeah - I tried searching.

all Crossfire manuals are listed in the documentation thread. but be careful as there are some printing mistakes. ie incorrect torque specs.

There is an incorrect torue spec on the brake anchore bolts on one of the brake pages.
I'll try and find it again. I believe it said 85 ft lbs, which is too much and will snap the anchor bolts

Blue,
Good find! I checked the electronic version against my paper version and you were correct. The front caliper mounting bolt torque in the electronic version said 85 FT. lbs. where as the paper manual stated 21-30 ft. lbs.
I guess I bought the paper set for more then collector speculation, looks like I will be verifying all my settings and torques with them.
Thanks!
