Headlights Tsb
This is an easy fix.
My headlights both had foggy glass and would sweat.
Turns out it is a TSB and covered even under extended warranty.
Good thing too, because they must replace the whole unit which is $800CDN each.
If there is no damage to the front end of your car, it shouldnt be a problem.

What dealer did you go to? I've got the extended warranty, Gold Plan Plus with the Maintenance Plan and the Dealer I bought my car from says my headlights are not covered under the extended warranty, only covered under the 3 year new car warranty. I called several other Chrysler Dealers in the "Golden Horseshoe" and they told me the same thing. I ended up buying a pair.

Are TSB's only convered if the vehicle is under warranty or what? I was under the impression recalls got done no matter what the status of the warranty, but I am unaware on TSBs, someone mind setting me straight?
Thanks.
I believe that I have the same extended warranty.
Either way, I insisted that "moisture in the light was a defect in the design" and not my problem. Therefore, I should not have to pay $800 for a new headlight.
After about an hour, they agreed and said that few if any parts for a 2005 Crossfire would actually show up in the Chrysler database as they are Mercedes parts.
Even now, I think the dealership does some kind of magic and just claims it as "goodwill".

As far as I know, recalls are only issued if they must do so.
Otherwise, it becomes a Technical Service Bulletin and the owner becomes responsible for reporting any issues.
TSBs are the 21st Century Recall.

I go back and forth between dealers when Im having an issue that needs to be fixed, namely tsb's, because ive noticed that its mainly at the dealers discretion. Some will fix when others wont.
Wow, I must have the only dealer who stands behind what they sell! I had 2 oxygen sensors, 2 headlamps, 2 door handles and 1 tape strip under the convertible top replaced, not to mention free state inspection, No cost and no chin music. There is exceptions to all rules, not all dealers are crooks. Most depend on repeat business and word of mouth. They got a good one from me! I forgot mention the Center Mount Stop light was also replaced.

DMS you might want to add you dealership here:

Question: Did this TSB get added to the list? where is the actual document located, I would like to see the details and see if I'd be covered.
