Default Using a Uhaul auto transport

I got an update for you all... I don't think anyone has written this in here before. The UHAUL auto transport worked with my car without any modifications to the ramps. I also have dropped my suspention 1.5". This is good news because now my hole family will be able to attend races and car shows with out taking 2 cars somewhere. I little more details: the auto transport is 1500 lbs and my heavy crossfire is 3400 so a towing vehicle needs to be able to pull 5000 lbs. This works perfectly for Soldiers with more then one car and need to do a change of station, etc. The military does not move automobiles for Soldiers only motorcycles. In fact in 2007 I did not have the hummer yet and so my wife drove her car and I drove the xfire from UT to school in AZ then to FT. Hood TX. What a nigh mare...

yep, that little trailer is perfect for our cars, and I contacted UHaul to see where I could buy an old one...their answer was, you can't...they don't sell the trailers, but do sell everything else...so, still trailer hunting...but, they are perfect little rentals...rust proof and all...

Yeah they do work great, Colin (tri-zombie) brought his SRT roadster up to Eurocharged from New Orleans and it loaded and unloaded easily.

Retired from the Army so I hope I never have a reason to tow my Crossfire's.
"Cept for the St Louis meet.
I wonder. Will an SRT coupe pull a SRT Roadster?

LOL, not any better than the roadster pulling the coupe! This is getting confusing .

thanks for the info, when I email them, they told me they didn't sell the trailers...guess he didn't know what he was talking about...but, doesn't look like they go cheap....thanks again...I will call the guy back, and see if they have an auction house near Indy that handles their trailer sales...

The UHaul trailer is alright, but if you're moving a bigger vehicle, it might be a good idea to use auto transport.

Hah well you're all set then. Sounds like you've got a nice trailer and a truck big enough to haul anything. Cheers.
