Default Discolured ****

Hi all,

Both my radio ***** are discoloured, the soft silver ones. Can they be removed from the unit to respray and is it a case of just pulling hard............no pun intended

Thanks in advance
Jay

Ahhh those *****, you had me wondering with your title. Pull hard on these and they come off. I tried to clean up my ***** (radio) but I had no luck. I replaced them from another radio.

Thanks for the reply,

I did try and pull each **** but they looked pretty well attached and I think if I tugged any harder the whole unit would have come out the dash. I will give it another go and hopefully they will come off.

I am thinking of hand spraying them with a can of silver as they have gone slightly tarnished, just hope the spray sticks to the soft rubber

Cheers again
Jay

Post a thread in the WTB section. A lot of guys replace the stock radio and may be willing to sell the entire radio, or at least the *****, pretty cheaply.
